In the mid-2010s, Highline’s Sue Frantz read about a company that was providing information to employees through flyers strategically located where folks had a few minutes to read. She put together this insight and her role as an EdTech faculty-in residence and the Potty Picayune (or PP, if you’re in a hurry) was born. With the help of some co-conspirators and the installation of Highline’s first gender-neutral bathrooms, distribution continued on paper for several years.
But it was an exclusive publication. If you could hold it, or couldn’t hold the knowledge long enough to wash your hands and get back to your computer, the wisdom of the bathroom walls was lost to you. And thus, the publication went digital and was renamed the Porta Potty Picayune (or PPP, if you only thought it was going to be quick).
Sadly, both Sue and the publication which will forever mark her CV both retired a few years ago, leaving the walls cleaner, but our minds less fortified. Enter new EdTech Faculty in Residence, Patrick Kwon, who has taken on the challenge of bringing Highline’s Toilet Paper back to your email inboxes!
